Dreamland Amusement & Water Park

Adventure World Fun & Family Tourism Park is an amusement park located on Salutikor Road (Airport Bypass Road) on the outskirts of Sylhet. Very close to Osmani International Airport. Spanning roughly 13 acres amid local hills and nearby tea gardens, it is a popular spot for families, groups, and children looking for casual entertainment.

• The Rides: The park features between 16 to 25 rides. The most famous attraction is the Giant Ferris Wheel, which treats riders to wide aerial views of the adjacent airport runway and tea estates. Other popular options include a Sky Train, a carousel, and bumper cars.
• Atmosphere: It balances artificial rides with natural scenery, offering manicured green spaces, colorful flowerbeds, and a central fountain. It also houses an open-air concert gallery and stage.
• Dining: The park does not allow outside food. However, inside you can find food stalls, refreshments, and the newly opened Adventure Garden Café.

Getting there & Admission Fees:

• Admission: The entry fee is typically 50 Taka for adults and 30 Taka for children (individual rides carry separate, additional costs).
• Getting There: It is roughly a 15 to 18-minute drive from the main town of Sylhet. You can easily hire a CNG auto-rickshaw or a traditional rickshaw to get there along the Airport Bypass Road.
• Honest Local Caveat: While it offers great views, recent visitors have noted that several older rides are occasionally out of order or poorly maintained. It is best suited for an easy afternoon out with younger kids rather than high-thrill seeking.

Because the park takes only a couple of hours to fully explore, I highly recommend pairing it with other nearby landmarks on the airport route. You can easily combine this with a stroll through the Lakkatura Tea Garden, a visit to the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
